Lillemor Blunt Lillemor Elliott was brought up in Hillcrest when it was still a village and attended Edgewood College. She taught at Howick Prep, Pinetown Senior primary and then Hillcrest Primary, marrying Gavin, who at the time was also teaching! After their first son, Dane Timothy was born, they decided to experience a different lifestyle and culture, gain experience and travel whilst living in the UK for nearly 8 years. Gavin’s career had also taken a different turn to IT network consultancy. Kieran Alex, their second son, was born in 2000, and 18 months later, Lillemor took up a position at Milton Keynes Preparatory School, in Buckinghamshire. She experienced pre-primary teaching for the first time, and was promoted to become headmistress of a pre-preparatory school. This was invaluable experience and exposure, whilst teaching a combined class of reception, grade 1 and 2. Kelby Jon, their third son, was “put on hold” until August 2004! The Blunt family returned home in February 2007. They wanted the freedom of the outdoors for their children, without the restrictions of the constant bad weather and space limitations of the lifestyle that they experienced. They all appreciate the simple pleasures that life in this great country has to offer, and haven’t looked back.Lillemor started working at Cordwalles in August 2007 in Grade 2, and since January 2008 has been Director of Music. Lillemor has three sons- Dane, who is in Grade 8 at Maritzburg College, and Kieran and Kelby who are both Cordies boys. She is passionate about her subject and has great vision for the future. |
Lucy Usher In the last term of 2005, Lucy made the move She is married to Glen, an attorney and has three children; Katy and Tori who are at St John’s DSG and Tom who is at Cordwalles. |
