LETTER FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR (MARK MARSHALL)
With the aQuelle Cordwalles Mudman event fast approaching in 18 (as at 4/3/10) sleeps time, there is great excitement 
building up amongst the boys and the organizing committee! Although the boys have been handed an ENTRY FORM, we encourage them to go and enter on-line (www.cordwalles.co.za or www.mudmansa.co.za). It is so easy to enter on-line using our new ‘state of the art’ computer entry system. Colleen Borain and Gary Schneider (IT teachers) have kindly offered to assist the boys. Both Hermannsburg and Epworth Schools recently used this system at their events and the feedback has been excellent – in fact 80% of their entrants entered on-line, it worked well and saved the organizers many hours of data capture!!
NEWS FLASH – although the entry form states that there will be pre-registration at Cordwalles on Friday afternoon, this will be ONLY for the Mudskippers from 12h00 – 13h30. The on-line system is proven to be so efficient and easy that pre-registration for the full and half distance athletes will only take place on Sunday 21st March at Orient Park, Midmar Dam and NOT at Cordwalles.
Click here to find the information about the MUDSKIPPERS. Cordwalles is part of a series so the layout of the entry form is the same as Hermannsburg, Epworth and DPHS. We ask that when you pre-enter your child in the Mudskippers event that you place a tick in his/her age group. However, on the day (or Friday afternoon at the Cordwalles dining room) you will go and register him/her at the Mudskippers Registration Table where he/she will be registered into one of the 4 mini McDonalds events and be given a coloured wrist band. This will identify your child to the correct race and age group – ie, McNuggets / McMuffins / McFlurrys / Big Macs.
The fun CAMP OVER will be held the night before the aQuelle Cordwalles Mudman event at the same venue – Orient Park at Midmar Dam. Attached are all the details together the booking form. Should you have any queries, kindly contact Daryl Kriel on 082 297 1117.
We have raised nearly R20 000 so far from the sales of the Mala Mala Raffle. Our target is R130 000! Please can all the raffle sheets be returned to Ruth Forder’s office (completed please!) by Tuesday 16th March or via your son’s class teacher. The chance to stay at Mala Mala, a world renowned game reserve, in the Sabi Sands for only R20 a ticket is a fabulous prize to win! This raffle will be drawn at the Mudman Prize Giving and kindly note that the lucky winner does not have to be there to claim the prize.

DIRECTIONS TO ORIENT PARK - MIDMAR DAM
Travel along the N3 from Durban to Johannesburg. At Howick take exit 103. Fairfield Diary and Sutherlands will be on the right side of the N3.
At the top of the off ramp, turn left and keep left. There will be lots of signs indicating the direction to Orient Park.
Please do not turn right to go towards the dam wall and main entrance of Midmar Dam..
