Sister Bailey, Joan (1948-1952)
Just wanted to add some information regarding my great aunt who was the school nurse / matron from 1948-1952 at Cordwalles school and who has fond memories of her time there. Her name is Joan Bailey. Rose, Guy (1954-59)
Headmaster Mr Parmiter for a year or two after I arrived and then Ronald Brooks. Favourite subjects music - studied with Brian Goodwin who subsequently left for Hilton College - and English with Tom Sharpe - the author, until he was deported from South Africa.
Now working in London as a literary agent and my list of clients includes Iain Duncan Smith (former Leader of HM Opposition) and a number of show business celebrities. I represent novelists, biographers, playwrights and screenwriters.
Married to Alexandra - two sons Leo (13) and Jasper (9) both at school in London.

Spence, Peter (1950-1955)
I attended Cordwalles from 1950 – 1955
From there I went to Michaelhouse and St. Johns College Cambridge.
After 7 years in England I returned to the land of my birth, Mozambique, leaving there a year after independence in 1976.
I joined Natal Oils and Soaps as factory manager until it was taken over by Unilever.
I retired from Unilever at the end of 2004
