What is Cordwalles' policy on bullying?
Cordwalles has a policy of a “Hurt-Free Environment”. We do not tolerate bullying or harassment. Respect for others is expected.
Is Cordwalles concerned about manners?
Yes indeed. Boys are expected to behave in a respectful & polite manner in the classroom, on the sports field, in the dining room and around the school at all times.
Does Cordwalles have a Code of Conduct?

Is Music offered at Cordwalles?

What does 'Inky' stand for?
Incubator (getting our little boys ready for the big wide world).
Do the pre-primary boys wear a uniform?
Yes, it is very casual and hardwearing. Please go to The School Shop.
Is there Aftercare for working parents?
Yes, children, however need to be collected at 17h00.
How do I apply for Aftercare?

Must the Inky boys attend Saturday school?
Specific Saturdays only, parents are notified ahead of time.

Junior Primary

What are the school hours?
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 07h30-12h50; Tuesday & Thursday 07h30-14h00
Must Junior Primary boys attend Saturday school?
Specific Saturdays only, parents are notified ahead of time.
Is there Aftercare for working parents?
Yes, children, however need to be collected at 17h00.
Can my child board?
No boarding is available from Grade 4 to 7. However subject to availability they can flexi-board should you require short-term accommodation.

Senior Primary

What are the school hours?
Grade 3: 07h30-14h00; Grade 4-7: 07h30-14h45 (Sport commences at 15h00).
What stationery must my child provide?
Initial stationery items are issued by the school, subsequent items are charged to the school account. All exercise, homework and text books are also provided by the school.
What must my child wear?

Boarding

Do you offer flexi-boarding?
Yes, the flexi boarding is R325.00 a day should the pupil at school for a short period for Grade 4-7’s, or for a daily rate of R185.00 per night.

Must clothes be marked?
Yes, most definitely. Name tags can be ordered through the school shop. Please contact The School Shop.
Can somebody else sew the label onto my child's clothes?
