A: Yes.

A: 18-24.
Q: What is Cordwalles’ policy on bullying?
A: Cordwalles has a policy of a “Hurt-Free Environment”. We do not tolerate bullying or harassment. Respect for others is expected.
Q: Is Cordwalles concerned about manners?
A: Yes indeed. Boys are expected to behave in a respectful and polite manner in the classroom, on the sports field, in the dining room and around the school at all times.

3. Pre-Primary
Q: What does ‘Inky’ stand for?
A: Incubator; getting our little boys ready for the big wide world.
Q: Do the pre-primary boys wear a uniform?
A: Yes, it is very casual and hardwearing. Please go to The School Shop.
Q: Is there Aftercare for working parents?
A: Yes, there is Aftercare daily until 17h00.

A: Specific Saturdays only, parents are notified well ahead of time.
4. Junior Primary
Q: What are the school hours?
A: Grade 1 and 2: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 07h30-13h00; Tuesday & Thursday 07h30-14h00.
A: Grade 3: 07h30 – 14h00. There will be compulsory sport twice a week, on selected days until 16h00.
Q: Must Junior Primary boys attend Saturday school?
A: Specific Saturdays only, parents are notified well ahead of time.
Q: Is there Aftercare for working parents?
A: Yes, there is Aftercare daily until 17h00.
Q: Can my child board?
A: No. Boarding is available from Grade 4 to 7. However subject to availability boys may flexi-board should you require short-term accommodation.
5. Senior Primary
Q: What are the school hours?
A: Monday & Thursday 07h30 – 14h45; Wednesday 07h30 – 14h00; Friday 07h30 – 14h15; Saturday School 07h30 – 12h30 (Sport commences at 15h00).
Q: What stationery must my child provide?
A: Initial stationery items are issued by the school, subsequent items are charged to the school account. All exercise, homework and text books are also provided by the school.

6. Boarding
Q: Do you offer flexi-boarding?
A: Yes for Grade 4 – 7s: A boarding rate of R445 a day will be charged for pupils staying at school for short periods. A daily rate of R260 will be charged for boys who stay overnight for school functions such as play rehearsals.

Q: Must clothes be marked?
A: Yes, most definitely. Name tags can be ordered through the school shop. Please contact The School Shop.
