Sibling Discounts
Sibling discounts are available:
- A second child will receive a 5% discount on tuition only.
- A third child will receive a 10% discount on tuition only.
Incidental Expenses
A charge of R1 235 for incidentals is levied every term to cover the following: stationery allowance, loan of text and exercise books, photocopying, entertainment, routine medical attention, sport and cultural catering, upkeep of the Chapel and routine transport requirements.

Additional Charges
Fees are charged as per the teacher/coach concerned – music (flute, clarinet, drums, saxophone, piano, etc), sport (tennis, swimming, cricket, rugby) and academic support (remediation, occupational therapy).
This is available to Grade RRR, RR and R at no charge and at a cost of R1 155 per term or R37 per afternoon for Grade 1 and Grade 2. Grade 3 boys may attend aftercare at a cost of R555 per term or R29 per afternoon. Lunch is provided at a cost of R1 589 per term. or R33 per lunch. Kindly notify the School, at the start of each term, should you wish to provide your son with his own lunch. The Application Form is available on the school APP.
Transport and other costs for special events, tours, etc will be charged separately.

An annual premium is charged for compulsory Accident Insurance. This is R770 for Grade RRR, RR and R and R1 200 for Grades 1 – 7.
A once off linen fee of R365 is charged to new boarders.
A boarding rate of R510 a day will be charged for pupils staying at school for short periods. A daily rate of R295 will be charged for boys who stay overnight for School functions such as play rehearsals.
A voluntary contribution of R525 per family per term is suggested to assist with capital expenditure and special projects. The payment of this amount is treated as a donation to an educational establishment in terms of S18A of the Income Tax Act. Should parents not wish to contribute please notify the school at the start of the year.
Payment of Fees

If the annual tuition fees are paid in full by 31st December, a 5% discount is offered. Queries should be addressed to – debtors@cordwalles.co.za.
Via Debit Order:
Fees are payable monthly over a 10-month period by debit order or alternatively may be paid quarterly IN ADVANCE by debit order. Failed debit orders carry a charge of R90.
Please Note:
- All extra expenses will be charged on a monthly basis and required to be paid on presentation of the account.
- Any overdue amounts will be charged interest at the maximum prescribed rate in accordance with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005.
- All accounts are to be settled by the end of October for any given year.
- Should your account fall into arrears a letter of demand, giving notice will be sent to you, indicating that you are in breach of the contract and unless satisfactory arrangements for payment of the arrears are made within 14 days, the account will be handed over to the School Attorney’s for collection and exclusion will take place.
- A full term’s notice, in writing, or one term’s fees in lieu thereof, is required before withdrawal of a pupil from school and/or the Boarding House.
